Hi, I do costuming in other scifi genras besdies Star Wars. I'm hunting for a make-up that won't smear so I can do Trill spots. Ris'sa suggested a tattoo paint and says this is found in costume shops. It doesn't require a fixident and you need alcohol to remove it.
Nova, Does your store have anything like this? If so, what is it called exactly and how can I get some?

I'll check with the make-up guys and see what they say. Most satge make-ups when applied properly will stay but most must be properly set. Will get back to you. We do phone 7 internet orders, so getting not to big a problem.

As a side note. I am just about to try out something.
I was talking to another costumer, about making tattoos and other temporary designs, and they sugested ....
Temporary Hair Color Sprays...like the stuff you find around holoween..*hint..hint!*
They say, if you spray on a fixitive, the design, and then a sealer..it should last pretty well.
I'll let you know how it works..

I was watching that TV show about tattooing (I must have been too tired to move as I'm not at all interested).... something "Ink". One of the guys did a set of temp. tatoos on models for a photo shoot....and he drew and colored them with Sharpie pens!

Sharpies are cool.
But I would suggest you do a test someplace on yourself first. Sometimes the colors do NOT wash off all that well...and you end up with some strange colorations on your arms for awhile, before they wear off.

I have done the "Barriss" face diamonds on several occasions with my Jedi costume...
What I used was a Ben Nye sealer that you spray on (try to avoid the eyes....boy...does it burn)....
Anyway....after applying the diamonds I sprayed the sealer on....and I can tell you....the make up stays put!
For the ROTS premier....I was in costume and make-up (and awake) for almost 24 hours....the diamonds looked perfect after all that time...and I did a fair amount of sweating too....
but....glasses did smudge the diamonds on the nose on another occasion....
It isn't perfect...but it really works well....

Yes. The Ben Nye stuff is GREAT. Keeps it there for a long time.
Note about use of temporary hair color for tat colors. I think I will stay with Ben nye paints till I find the "Tattoo ink" paints that are out there.
The results vary according to what spray you use. Some of them have such a high oil base, it dosent sent on skin..and smears easily. Another, sprayed on fine, but then, even with the sealer flaked off.
So, until I find a brand I like, I'll stick with the regular paints.
