Where did you find the buckles for an accurate one?
Pricewise, what you're getting might be a little out of reach for some, if it's really accurate, I'm figuring a pretty penny for it.

Hmm, does the color look very different than the one posted on the first page? To me, that looked black, but I know how colors can vary depending on the camera and lighting...

I think the gloved Anakin hand is a great costume accessory. But I would like to have the actual metal mechanical prop hand. Is this available anywhere?

Ah! So you want the hand that goes in the glove as well? Say it loud enough... Master Replicas might be listening! It would make a nice glove-holder! Or, how about getting a tatoo that makes your entire forearm look like Anakin's mechanical one? ;D |

I'm a little surprised that it's not available. The Fantastic 4 Reed Richards extendable hand is all over Wally World.
But I will admit that if the Anakin hand was as poorly made as the Reed Richards hand I would guess that it was made by Rubies.

Most likely, someone will do a latex robot type hand somewhere along the line, Anakin's or Rubies or not, I could mention it to some of our suppliers and see what happens.

I tried to make a glove to simulate Anakin's artificial arm and hand, but it didn't turn out as I planned... apfoister.proboards9.com/index.cgi?board=enostumes&action=display&n=1&thread=1236I think if a wearable replica were available, it would consist of the black polycarbonate segments on a glove... However... It would probably have to be custome made for each person because of the person's fingers being able to fit through the segments... I'm sure a professional company could do a much better job than I did as they'd have access to proper materials and tools, but I think mine will be sufficient for a few costume photos (and if I were to wear the costume out, I'd just wear the gauntlet instead) |

you could wear the terminator hand if you cut off your arm.  on sec I'll try that because I have the terminator hand (birthday present)..... ..... ..... ..... OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!! what..do..you..know..Ow!...it..Ow!...fits... lol that's not that bad. My Uncle is a machinist and he makes some strange stuff. But I'm going to try and get him to make something like a metal glove that is like Anakin's hand. Hmmm I see if he can do it. |
