It looks pretty good to me. Hot charcoal....good tip, though I suppose a little dangerous if you get carried away. Were you able to use any photos of Obi-Wan's tunic from the CIII display?
Hmmmmm, if the fabric fibers melt, that's supposed to mean that it's at least partly synthetic. All natural material are just supposed to burn and turn to ash.

yeah it IS an optical illusion problem. I spotted that immediatly. I'm positive the outfit It'll hang properly on his body. If the entire assembly is to scale, exact measurments would look aweful. A large body a 6.5 inch wide tabbord would look to narrow. while on my little form, it'd be hanging off my shoulder. This si my I stress making a replica to fit the body it's for not the actor's.(unless you'er the same size as Ewan.;-).)

There's nothing I like to see then a dirty burnt Jedi! ;D Rudy G. LOL! ....no comment. ---------- Yeah I can see how throwing hot coals at my Jedi costume could be fun.... especially if I'm really mad at the way it turned out! Kinda like demolition!

Not sure exactly what Ewan sizes are but I am only 5'10" 175 here is a pic while wearing. Please ingnore the non-issue jedi shorts. Also the obi is backwards in the pic. It is difficult to secure and look right bymself.

Oooo. Looks perfect man. Absolutly perfect. I understand about the obi being on backwards, those things are a pain sometimes togetstraight.:-). That's why we come in pairs.:-) Talk to me when you have to do your r'beltdance'to fasten the leather belt.;-D. From what I'm seeing, it fits great, looks awesome. Now the REAL question reguardless of what we say. Here it is, How does this outfit feel ON? Are you happy with your work and the results? Didja have fun and learn stuff while doing so? If it's all "yes" then dude, rock on. :-) Cuz that's all that matters.
Peace and long life in that and ENJOY! B-)

The awsome thing to wearing is I lined the inside with a fine silky type fine linen. Man it feels soooo cool against the skin.
Thanks for all the insight and comments you all are great! Glad to be a member!
