Mine?, hehe I never tell what it is . Well that's just not fair Ki Vaan Zion, I really like your tattoos, they've got a really clasic theme to them despite the contemporary style I just wish I had the funds to get more done myself, but that means travelling to my artist and staying with my parents and suffering my mum's dissaproval... I think I'll just save quietly for a while and get the work done in the future

My tattoo is a Gryphon (or Griffin, or Griffen....lol) that is above my left ankle....which is perfect.....because with the Jedi boots on...you can't see it...
There is nothing to say that Jedi can't have tattoos.......I LOVE my tattoo and it was worth the pain of getting it....
I think a lot of different tattoos would totally work in the Star Wars Universe....
well... except one that says like...
"Harleys forever".....lol.... ;D

Not all tattoos hurt, it depends on where you get them. The less flesh you have in the area, the more it's gonna hurt. Like I imagine that ankle, wrist and something on the collar bone would hurt a lot.
I got mine on my upper arm where it's nice and fleshy. It didn't hurt, but I was glad when it was done!
Here's mine again:

It's a Celtic Knot version of the Yin/Yang symbol. It symbolizes duality. Good and evil, light and dark, Jedi and Sith........
That's why I think it works for a Jedi.

i hate tatoos all they do is hurt when u get em. I'm curious, why do you hate tattoos? Do you actually have any yourself? Getting a tattoo is no more painful than grazing a knee or elbow, and for the vast majority of tattooed people, they do a lot more than just hurt when they get them, they are often used to remember freinds, relatives and children, or to alter an area of the body that someone is self-conscious about (say covering or distracting from an unwanted scar) I don't mean to sound rude or condescending, but how old are you? When I was 18 I said that I'd never get a tattoo, and I really meant it, but I changed my mind as I got older, and now I can't imagine myself without my tattoo, I have never regreted having it done, and I would never want it removed i would just use a henna tatoo or airbrush. just my opinion For costume use, then yes, henna or airbrushing is perfect, but in the real world, people want a tattoo to be permanant, it's the reason for getting it in the first place.

Thought I'd give this thread a quick bump Having seen a figure of Darth Maul with a training droid, it shows that his tattoos extend right across his torso and arms, not just the facial ones seen in TPM. Inspired by this, I'm planning on having the tattoo across my shoulders extended further down my spine. I've got the design drawn up, all I have to do now is get the money for it ;D

No it's not a crest, Apart fromt hat not many see it, I didn't get it to draw attention. I take a quiet satisfaction in it

I think 'quiet satisfaction' is something of an understatement there, my friend As long as you are happy with it, that's all that matters
