No problem I think it'd work best if the 'cooling suit' was in two halves with the pumps at waist height. Good luck with the project

That looks really good, The hair looks good, but blocks the mouth, but it looks like you did do something to it.

I hope I'm not being too harsh, but that hair on the suit still look too much like it must have when you bought it, the strands crinkly and still sort of twisted together.
I suppose that the hair will sort of "fluff out" with time, but is there anyway you can maybe brush it out?
I'm sure it'll look better later, and I know you must have put a lot of work into that daunting task, but I just think, that right now it looks too much like a "walking carpet". It just doesn't look like fur, to me.
I wanted to see if anyone else was going to say what I was thinking, but no one did.
I think, the mask is great, but the suit just doesn't match the way the mask looks.
I'm still impressed with all the work you put into it, there's just something that doesn't look quite right about it, to me.

i think it looks great but loreen is right it just dosen't look the way it should, also wookiees hate clothing with a PASSION so a wookiee would really only wear the belt and that's it.

the suit isnt done yet, i cant brush it together until the whole thing is peppered if i brush it together i couldnt get to the suit to add the gray hair in underneath,
i agree though, the hair in the face needs to be bobby pinned to the mask to keep it from going everywhere
it will never look like fur, becasue wookiees dont have fur they have hair, it will stop looking matted together once i get some more gray hair though
baswed off of the only wookiee jedi that i know of besides lowbacca, tyvokka wore robes, im thinking about a bandolier belt hookup i think that would be pretty cool for a jedi wookiee

It also shows Dooku when he was a Jedi Master, and his costume looks rather dark

Just out of curiousity, how did you attach the hair? When you go to unmat it, if you have a steamer, try steaming it straight before you use a comb or brush. Also, try using a hairspay w/ laquer in it on the mask hair, brush it where you want it, and spray, but not to heavy, you don't want cotton candy, just hold.

If I were to undertake a project like this, I'd skip out on the pants and tunic, just have a belt, tabbards, and a robe. From my point of view, that would fit a wookiee quite well.

Definitely, it'd be interesting to see if someone were to be allowed to recreate that costume, as it seems to be just very dark shades of grey.

The original Chewie suit was tubed for cooling. There are tubes passing everywhere in the suit, small tubing ennough for water to pass in, a little like that passing everywhere in this fashion the best is to have an undergarment with cooling tubings. You need a fixture to attach somewhere with a container (quick release the better), and when you're getting too hot, you pump out the hot water and change it with cool one. I think some 501st do the same. Its kinda pricey, but if you already paid big buck for a costume, you better be able to use it.

Personally, I think all that needs to be done is fixing the face, adding the gray hair, and then making a belt/bandolier to hang the lightsaber on. Other than that, the suit looks GREAT!
