****Old Info, New Stuff at Bottum. Left here to show progress **** Here is pics of my Jedi. Just got it done the other day. Having a little trouble with the tabbards. I might need to velcro 'em ot the shoulder or so, and press them better ( it was a quickie job lol ) so they lay more flat. Anyone got any tips on that? I'm waiting on my Food Capsuals to come, along with a couple pouches. After that, It should be ready to go. Whatcha Think? I need to learn to photoshop sabers I tried with a tutorial, lol And I must have done something wrong because it looked horrible LoL. **************EDIT************** 10/8/05 Updated my costume a little bit. Totally redid the Tunic, Tabbards, and Obi to make them more Obi Wan like. (I looove the look of his material.. hehe) The material I used has Ribs and looks closely enough like the Obi Wan Ep III stuff... Just dosnt look like it has enough body to it. I'll see if I can take a close up of the Cloth by itself to show ya all lata. I used the new Simplicity Pattern, I forget what it was. With a few small modifications to the Tabbards and Obi. All together it looks A LOT better than the old one. I'm very impressed. Check it out. Pics are a little fuzzy. I dont quite no why, New digital cam, gotta figure out how to work it I reckon' .. Anyways to the pics!! ******Edit****** Added Another Picture. My photoshoped Blade. I was going to chose blue as my blade color, but I thought Orange would be a nice change from the normal blue/green jedi blade. And I like the color.. hehe.. I've also applied to become a member.

Well done. You're ready for membership!
Yes, give the tabards a good pressing. And use something to fasten them to the shoulders of the tunic. They really won't stay up otherwise. Some use velcro or sew them in place. I use snaps.

That looks really good. Yeah, for tabbards I like snaps to, some use safety pins, but that will rip the fabric eventually. We're going to see you at CIII aren't we?

Nice costume, good job! Tabbards are a pain to keep up, so you will need to use Velcro or snaps. I'm in the process of fixing mine now and hope to get it finished tonight.

My tabbards are sewn to the shoulders with just a couple of small stitches, and the tabbards are pinned together in the center to keep them from separating.
Very nice costume! ;D

Even with the blurry photo, I can tell that this new garb is better than the old, as you say. Nicely done.

Yes very well done! My digital camera does the same thing... blurry pictures! It's so annoying. I guess reading the directions would be a good idea... I need to do that! And keep trying with the photoshop blades, the more you play with it the better you'll get!

The updated costume looks brilliant! Really short tunics are a pet hate of mine...

Looks good! When my digital camera gives me blurry photos it's usually because there isn't enough light for the autofocus to work right.
