Movie-wise...it is only Star Wars..
I also was/am a huge Buffy and Angel fan....but...there isn't too much happening along those lines anymore...
In a way, I was kinda bummed at the Series finale of Angel....what were we to make of that ending?

as to books.... anyone ever read Roger Zelazny's "Chronicles of Amber" series? 10 books covering father and son. or his book "Eye of Cat"? OR Philip Jose Farmer's "Dayworld" series or "World of Tiers" books? I would recommend the above to Sci-Fi/Fantasy buffs. They're older books and might be hard to find, but good stuff.....

I read the Amber series back in the '70s--the author even was guest of honor at a scifi con I went ot in L.A. back then. Noticed lately that the books are coming back. JMD

that's when I read them too. I still have the originals. I think much of the older stuff is better. Just like the movies. Older stuff needed better stories and actors since they didn't have the FX and bells and whistles they do today. Most movies suffer greatly for it too.
