We're out of stock on Wookies just now, but they are on order. I work at New York Costumes/Halloween Adventure in NYC.

Do you have Greedo Hands in stock? I got the mask from a site for only $15.70 with shipping! Jaren you are one smooth bargain-hunting Jedi!

They have been discontinued, they are no longer in the catalogue, but I will see if we can get in a pair from somewhere. I'll call the manufacturer 2morrow & see if they have them on closeout or in the warehouse.

My character is non-human, mostly becasue I created it first for Dragon*con and didn't want to be the upteenth human jedi wandering around. I wanted to be a bit different so I went with an alien look, although being a college student and part-time worker at a book store, I'm really limited in time and money, so I ended up just adding horns, ear tips, and painted on tribal markings to make me non-human. A couple of people at the con called me a Fawn, but it didn't bother me and the character that costume made me is the character I still use, though she's been updated a bit here and there. I have pictures, but none up just yet. (the most recent update to the costume happened for the premiere of Ep III, and those pics aren't up yet)
Also to deal with the heat, I actually made my tunic sleevless, again using the alien-ness as an excuse, and don't have a problem at the hot cons.
I have entertained the idea of makeing Lekku before and still do at times. I've talked to a lot of people who've made them in a lot of different ways and haven't found one I really like yet. Anyone have one that really is simple and not heavy to wear? Some poor fellow at Dragon*Con last year filled his with rice to keep them from flopping around, and they weighed nearly four pounds. I can't imagine walking around all day with that on your head!
