I'm starting to make a costuming site. It's really new though! (meaning, it's kinda way under construction!) But I'm putting up the instructions for how I made my Jedi costume. However, don't be surprised if the instuctions are as clear as mud (I'm working on it, I swear!) Anyways, check it out at www.msnusers.com/HowtoMakeaJedi
Thanks! Aaires~

I like it!!!!!
couple of questions....
what pattern did you use for your tunic? I want to do another tunic with a collar...I noticed yours has a collar but the pattern I used does not include one and since I am a rotten sewer....I really need a pattern to follow.... Also...is that the sash from Ambers Jedi Meditation Chamber?

Yeah, my tunic does have a collar. I used pattern Simplicity#0606 (It was a new costume pattern this year) It was costume D. And the sashes I made I basically just made up after looking at pictures. If you check back at my site later, I'm going to put instructions.

drat.... I was just at the fabric store yesterday.... will be sure to look for 0606! Would like to make my second tunic something like that but have been thwarted by the inability to find decent fabric! I also purchased some of the other patterns that have been mentioned...not sure I am going to use them...but like most things...the minute they are discontinued...THAT is the time you will need them!

Aaires, what was 0606 called, I might have it somewhere or if I know what to look for can find it in a different line of patterns.

I hope you didn't throw away your pattern Aaries....
I have used my "Space Nomads" a couple of times already.
I am also stockpiling a bunch of the patterns mentioned in the other sites....buy them now before they become unavailable!!

It's not discontinued! I'm so happy! (you know, just in case something happens to my pattern) What happen is that they changed the pattern number to #5840. Weird, huh?

I found the Simplicity pattern 5840 and I modified it to make it my own design. It is a great pattern......

Yeah, when I used that pattern, I was surprised how well my costume came out! I haven't used it to make the robe yet. Has anyone else? How much modification does it need?

5840..... I will have to find that one... I am currently making a dark version of the tunic out of Simplicity 8311 (view B) and I don't care too much for it already!
