the thing about fans in a helmet - I have long hair (as I'm sure you noticed in the pics I put up) wouldn't it get CAUGHT IN THE FANS?

Put your hair in a braid then tuck that into your shirt collar. I know of a storm trooper who has long hair and he did the same thing and had no problems with it getting caught in the helment fans.

Yes....I have fans....in addition to the vented "frown" Yes....my hair has already gotten ripped out.... lol.... I tie it better now... |

Thanks Em....I also hope to "do some damage" with my E-11 Blas-Tech.... I wired in a laser module to the E-11.....love to see that "red dot" show up on my "victims"...... |

Can you use a laser pointer with the blaster? Would people complain about it? I would guess that some venues are just touchy about anything that looks like a weapon and that stormtroopers have to go without sometimes. The stormtrooper costume isn't really complete without the blaster, but they at least have their armor.

Hehehehe. Well I guess Ill join you in being a white target too!! Im working on my Scout right now! Have that for Dragon con.. I have shorter hair so I do't suppose Ill have too much trouble with a fan in there. I also want to put a speaker in it if I can....

Most of the events I have attended our troopers have been allowed their weapons.....I use the same blaster with my Imperial Officer....and yes...
I am careful where I point the red dot.....and I usually only switch it on if we are in with a group that is "into it"...
I hard wired in a laser module that I found up for sale on e-bay....and utilized one of the two switches that is already on the gun....so...for the most part...you can't tell it is in there....it is mounted into the scope at the top of the blaster....

Yeah, gotta be careful where you point that thing!
Last year, NYC was at orange alert for something, and they had military out on the street with huge guns. My sister was amazed, but I had been around so many stromtroopers recently that I didn't even notice until she pointed them out... lol! They looked fake!
