After a review of the various pages on the main site, I see very little differance between "Assembly Members" and "Message Board Members"... isn't such deliniation among fellow Jedi friends a bit ... pointless?

Whats the big differance anyway?

The difference is that Members have a costume that meets the guidelines AND are 18 years old or older. This is set by the Council. It's all explained under "Jedi Code" on the main site. Since it is a costuming group, the emphasis for membership is on costume.

On the old site, it said to send a photo to certain member(s) of the council who would the approve the applicant for membership and post their photo on the webpage. Now that process is somewhat different as we can upload our own photos once given an account by the webmaster.
