YES! I bought some to roast on the fire... it takes several re-roastings to eat it and one is more than enough! I like to toast them and then eat off the toasted part then toast them again!
Also LOVE to roast marshmallow peeps! We save them from easter and let them get a bit stale. The outside browns and the sugar coating caramelizes... ends up looking like fried chicken! ;D

So thats what happend to the peeps! THey don't last long enough to be roasted over a fire here and was wondering what happened to them when roasted.

I used to have a Peep Roast at Pennsic War with my local SCA group the last night of Pennsic. We all would save 2 packages of Peeps and take them to Pennsic War.

Almost bought some yesterday! Didn't though... gas prices are putting me over budget for this C6 trip. Man I can't believe how much gas went up over the last month!!  It was 3.85 at the pump yesterday! |

It was 3.85 at the pump yesterday! Gas is ridiculous.... It;s $3.72 here but last week it was $3.99 here. It's going back up as in our neighboring town it went from $3.75 to $3.89 in two days, so ours will go up again.  Dianakin |

It looks like I'll get the monstrosity costume done for CVI, but it'll be a little closer than I like. And I'll only be able to bring one robe to CVI. <sigh>
