I've been using the air conditioner since January... can't wait 'till winter. How did all those stupid people end up in my Calculus class? Did you know you could practice fencing by petting the cat... with a saber? <G>[/glow]

The official Illlinois state fossil is the Tully Monster, found nowhere else on earth. (Not to be confused with Tully from Sesame Street)

Eqin, Petting your cat with your saber? :-)) LOL Make your settings WAY low or your cat'll be bald. JK If I had mysabe rwhen i had the cat, she'd be playing with it. batting and hanging onto the blade trying to climb up.

Gosh, I forgot the spring peepers, hope they didn't get frozen. Don't worry about that. Frogs have ethelene glycol (a form of antifreeze) in their blood.

In Chicago we had a snow storm on Easter once. When the snow started to melt we found a Leopard frog out in it, frozen. My kids were upset and brought it into the house. I let them look at it and in about 5 minutes it started moving. I put it in a bowl of warm water and it completely revived. I had a very large 50 gallon terrerium(sp) with moss, plants and a little pool, so we put him in there and went to the pet store and got a book on Leopard Frogs. He lived in that terrerium for four years and finally died of old age. According to the vet, he was already 2 years old when we found him. They usually live to be 2 to 3 years old, so we had him alot longer. He even hibernated in the winter. He was so cool and very tame.
