Now, this does not have to be a thread that's just about bad weather. It can be good weather, too.
The first storm of the season has been named, Alberto. It's not expected to get big; it will be just a bunch of rain. But it's only June 11, less than 2 weeks into the season, so unless all the storms wander off to sea, it will likely be a busy year.
