What a great idea! Here in Carmel we have the broze statue of Sybil Ludington on Lake Gleneida. Sybil is a heroine here for alerting the local Continental Army Regiment of British toop movements in Danbury, CT. Yearly, the statue "foams", and is a local oddity.

Good evening/morning/afternoon: We are hoping to celebrate the worldwide community of Star Wars fans in a special way this year, on SW.com, with your pictures, taken by your local and area landmarks. I'm sending you this email because I believe you are creative and might have great ideas for pictures. Some of you have blogs and websites you can post this request on and share it with your clubs and friends, and we'd love it if you would. All of your pictures need to come with the attached form, signed by you. You can use one form for multiple pictures, but you need to list all the pictures on the form. Here's the easy list: 1.Share this email with your Star Wars friends. 2.Take pictures in your Star Wars costumes with your local landmarks. 3.Turn in the pictures with a signed copy of this form (email or fax) to fanevents@starwars.com, or 1-415-623-1107 (FAX: Attn: Mary Franklin). 4.You can start turning them in at any time. The sooner the better! 5.The deadline is April 22nd to turn in pictures. But we'll start putting them up soon after we get them 6.Be sure to name the landmark, and area/city/country. 7.Have Fun, and May the 4th Be With You! Does not have to be in costume, but you should have some sort of Star Wars clothing on Mary Franklin Sr. Events Lead There also have a release form that needs to be signed and accompany the first set of photos. You only need one signed, BUT it must list each photo submitted try going here: www.dropbox.com/s/11amg79f3sugxxj/LFL_PersonalRelease_13.wps

William Shatner will be in Ep.VII as a relation of Leia Organa. My co-worker showed me the announcement on his communicator last night.

That makes sense. The 501st Legion follows a similar protocol for official LFL events.

Yes. Grey would not be considered for official duties, unless LFL itself changes their rules. In the past they have been browns or Face Characters only

While we are broadening the acceptance level of our costumers, official LFL-sanctionned events (should we start to say Disney-sanctionned?) might require all-brown. In the past, those rare events were limited to the most canon costumes, the same way the 501st sandtroopers can't troop in-line with stormtroopers in those events. The point is, while we start to accept pieces of grey, especially for secondary costumes, those greys might not be acceptable to full-fledged-actor-escort type of events.
It might be something to consider for some people.

I like what Abrams did with Star Trek, and how he made Alias work great all those years. I think if someone can take off where uncle George left and make the universe progress in a good direction, Abrams can. I cannot currently think of someone else better, and can't wait to see what he'll do with it.

It is the main contact my kids (aged 5 and 7) have with Star Wars, besides video games such as Lego Star Wars. I actually enjoyed watching the show with them. We started recently to show them the movies (the real ones, ep 5-6-7 ) and the clone wars was their introduction to it. I think it has a good place in the SW universe, and I will miss having new shows. But I think Disney is wanting to create a rarity, in preparation for the new movies to come out, and stopping most everything SW related seems like a good way to starve the fans and force them to the theater when the movies are out.

Alrighty! I've made the leap of faith and am now a full-time college student, for real! I spoke with my parents last night about being a full-time unemployed college student for a few years and got their consent and blessing. I also seeked the advice of my Physician Dr. M and he advised that I'll be working on living people, and that "moonlighting" while in Nursing School wasn't such a great idea. If I did have to "moonlight", then do something that's nursing related. I'm all registered full-time at SUNY Dutchess. I have to speak to my guidance councilor about playing the rules for the Spring Semester to maintain funding from my student loan and any grants I might get for academic excellence. Dr. M told me that business credits are the way to go for the Spring Semester, and that would put me closer to be a Nursing Adminisrator. I almost have a BS Business management, and only need my 2 Accounting courses to fufil that requirement. This is 1 of the accelerated BS RN prorams that I will be applying to: www.pace.edu/lienhard/combined-degree

WOW! A key costume maker! Will you be able to put this on your resume, too? Your career councilor had a great idea putting your TJA and RL participation on your resume. You're a leader, and that's a good quality in an employee.
