My only advice would be to use brass piping if possible rather than PVC, but other than that, it's perfect Do you mean the Brass pipe for the emitter and endpiece or the actual body? Its kinda hard if you mean for the end and emitter piece since i don't have a dremel.
And about the power knobs luckly my mom works at a office supply/repair store and my dads in the printing business so i get all kinds of knobs and stuff form there work, even pvc pipe sometimes.
