There are pretty good lightsaber tutorials around... can you learn from a tutorial?
I doubt you'll come around montreal only to learn to do a lightsaber... ;-)

There might be jedi masters in your surroundings, and I am certain they'd like building sabers in group.
I agree about the big yellow box. Its been there for a while, lots of people refer to them. I took Ideas from them before. You should visit them.
