I know.. iI really want to make my own too. But even still I don't know what to get .. I mean I know where.. *confused* Mabey if I was with one of you sometime and could take me to go and help me pick parts out for my first one.. that would be better for me.. I need someone to teach me for the first time around and then after that I can do it. It's just the way I learn things There's really no hard-and-fast rule about what to get to make your saber. Do your research, look at as many photos of other people's sabers as you can until you have the basic understanding of what makes up a saber. Read as many lightsaber tutorials in as many websites and forums as you can
Then goto your local hardware shop and just go crazy! Buy anything and everythint you think you can use to make a saber. Start with some lengths of PVC/copper/aluminum tubes of different diameters.
Go home and experiment. Let your imagination run wild!
