Distance pretty much prohibits me from accompanying you on a parts hunt, but if you like, PM me with your ideas for a saber, and I'll think of the best and easiest way to achieve it, with minimal tools (hacksaw, dremel (or generic copy) and some small hand files) and then I'll write you a 'recipe' of all the pieces you'll need, the best places to look for them, and a step-by-step guide on making the saber section by section, which can then be put together to make the complete saber
