I primed and painted everything several times. I also used a textured rubber paint for the handle ribs and a metallic paint that ripples when dries for the part of the emitter. I was also going to add some distress marks to disguise its material.
Once painted everything fits snuggly together and doesnt wiggle at all. It serves me as a pretty stylish flashlight when im out on Hallos eve. ;D And after the Halloween party I might not have to add any distress marks as everyone will be want to to hold it. (which is why my Other $$aber will be locked up for the night)
