Well, my last tunic was a floor length one (ankle length actually) with a stole around the neck instead of tabbards like Obi-Wan's in ANH. I've been very happy with it.

Can anyone post a pattern for that? I'd like to experiment with it and see how that works..
My first tie around Obi didn't work well because I didn't use interfacing in between the layers Only two layers of raw silk REALLY likes to roll up and scoot under the belt.
