YES!!
I've liked the velcro best, but it is NOT adjustable. (And the actors did not have to deal with weight fluctuations from wearing these month to month and year to year.)
I've tried several styles of wrap, but wide ones add too much bulk and narrow ones wrapped twice roll up and disappear under the utility belt, from both the top and bottom. I've even tried a "quick" version of the "staged" one that sort of hooks over itself and wraps twice. (You probably know the one I mean... it's been pictured here and on Padawan's Guide and everywhere else.) I may try a more careful version of that one.
I also sketched out a version with darts and belt stiffening on the inside (sort of corset-like construction but "hidden") with the "loose" fabric obi-look on the outside. Maybe this would help keep it in place?
So yes, I would love some help!
