Owen ain't Obi-Wan's brother. From all I know, Owen was born on Tatooine, and his last name doesn't match.
It may have been so in the novelization of ROTJ, but not in the movies...and IMHO, the movies are the only real 'canon' out there.
I always thought Obi-Wan was from Coruscant. But then I haven't done that much reasearch into his background.
