Hmmm...
I can understand everyone's dismay over what appears to be destroying a fantastic X-Wing model...
However you have to think of it from the "rocket builder's" point of view (at least this is how I see it
):
The guy builds rockets. Rockets are meant to be launched. Sometimes they take off and fly spectacularly (like the one at the end of the video) and sometimes they blow up shortly after takeoff.
In this case- the guy built a rocket that looks like an X-Wing (not the other way around--- or a model X-Wing that rockets were attached to). And the whole point was to launch it.
I'm sure he didn't expect it to expire that quickly, but I'm also sure he was aware of the risk.
