Isn't the second version from the "I, Jedi" book? It looks familiar. I've never seen the first one before.
The first one could be written without most of the pronouns.
As a Jedi I am Sworn to Valor... Heart Knows Only Virtue; Blade Defends the Helpless; Might Upholds the Weak; Word Speaks Only the Truth; Wratth Undoes the Wicked; As Knights of The old Code This We Swear To Uphold The Will of The Force. Long Live The Jedi.
Yes, I think "roth" should be "wrath" except that wrath in general doesn't sound right for a Jedi, even if it's aimed at the wicked. Unless there was some intent to invent a word where roth is meant as the light side of the Force kind of wrath?
