I'm able to maintain that level of awareness all the time, comes in real handy when shopping in crowded malls as I not only know where everyone is, but where they're going to be, so I can move around them ;DAs to the topic of Jedi Combat skills...
My best friend and I started studying Ju Jitsu and kenjutsu when we were 10, and pretty much never stopped. A few years ago after we came out of a pool hall, a group of kids tried to hassle us for drug money with flick knives. It goes without saying that we found a new use for our cues and walked away without a scratch
