Now that the enhancement on my Mace Windu inspired Jedi costume is nearing completion(will post pics soon), I'm contemplating making another costume. Again, I want to go EU. After much pondering, I've decided to go with a Mirialan costume (as in Barriss Offee), but the male version.
I'm just starting to do the research, and although Barriss Offee's costume is a good starting point, I obviously need to change her skirt to a pair of pants, or maybe a shorter skirt with pants underneath(ala native American Indian male attire), which I think would look better...
I do not read, or own any EU material, so I have not the slightest idea if there's any reference to male Mirialan characters anywhere. If anyone has any material I would really appreciate it if they could share with me either by posting pics or links here.
The first 'obstacle' I bumped into is the Mirialan's skin colour. According to the photos below from the Star Wars Databank(left) and Wikipedia Encyclopedia(right), Barriss Offee seem to have human skin tone:
However in the same page of that Star Wars Databank there's a Clone Wars rendering of her with a greenish skin colour:
And the Gentle Giant maquette also show her and Luminara Unndi having green skin:
Anyone with any opinion on the Mirialan's skin colour, or any other information, please do share your views.
