And to condemn someone for being different is not a Christian thing either... it's what happens when some religious people become hypocritical... and it happens within many religions. Extremists are everywhere. One of the reasons I am not particularly fond of any organized religion. One of the things that appeals to me so much about Buddhism, is that it is more a way of life, than a religion, as it is about personal enlightenment, not attempting to appease any god or higher power. Ditto!  I wholeheartedly agree. Enlightenment to me is to honor the "God" within ourselves and that which is in others. I don't know if this is Buddism or not, but it's something I try to live by. We're all the same... just, the same...
