I'd not call Star Wars100% "christian", the elements Undercover Jedi mentioned are true. It's an interesting example of mythology and epic story telling like Beowuf.
Lucas did snatchitems from various religions. I noticed George's story showed what happens when an order doesn't try to adjust with the times to reach the people it's suppossed toserve. A church can condem something but will they LIVE for God? IMHO, some 'churches' spend far too much time boycotting things and far too little time actually practicing and living a relationship WITH GOd.
