If you go to the Lightsaber Info. site that I started the thread for, one of the sections is on the colors of the blades that some of the Jedi Council Members have.
As for crystals and the blade color that they would produce:
Amethyst (purple quartz)=Purple.
Ruby=Red.
Saphire, Aquamarine=Blue.
Diamond=Gray/silver (like Corran Horn's).
Tourmaline=Pink.
Garnet=Deep Pink (probably the color of Adi Gallia's).
Emerald=Green.
Topaz, Smoky Quartz=Tan/Brown.
Since Lightsabers are "laser swords" the crystal would have to be transparent, which why I think the above gems would produce their colors.
