When you see your son playing with his SW figures (which he hasn't done in awhile) and he says in a tone that seeks forgiveness...."yeah, I'm getting back into Star Wars again."
Humans have an unbelievable propensity for stupidity and a neverending capacity for brilliance. This is the key to their adapability and survival. Nothing can be accomplished until you accept the possibility of failure and the consequences of inaction.
