Wow! Yes, the little changes do make a difference, especially when seen side by side, pic 1 looks good, but the second pic looks much more finished and fits you better. It's always good to have a couple of pairs of spare pants. I think the lighter pants would look very well with the tunic/undertunic combination as well.
