Nova - Slicking is a process that compresses the fibers on the edge of the belt to make them smooth. It's easy an it only takes a few minutes. Here's how it's done. 1) Use a beveler to trim the edges of the leather. 2) Moisten the edge of the leather with a sponge. 3) Using a circle edge slicker or a bone folder, rub the edge of the leather until the fibers look smooth and shiny. 4) Dye the edges, if desired.
