When i was a kid that colour shoe was called "oxblood" which really was about right, they were descibing the colour of it dried, dark red browninsh, nice.
Very nice, wear it well, and have fun doing it. I looks like a Jedi, I give no higher compliment than that.
Now, about the horse, looks very quarter horse-y in type, is it yours? The thing I miss most in the city is having a horse, had to find mine a home when I moved up here, but still love to ride whenever I can.
