True, but they're still PVC in one form or another, that is Poly Vinyl Clhoride, backed or not, it's still pleather, with grain, scales, or patent finish etc. it's not all bad, (except environmentaly)and it does have it's uses, wouldn't be to bad at all it it would breathe.
