A bit of a *bump*, but yes, I used synth-leather for my tabbards. It works fine for tabbards, but I wouldn't want to use it for something like a belt-pouch, certainly not as the primary material. If you were to make the pouch from something solid, but then use the synth-leather as a 'coating' for that material, it might work
