True, many's the time I've threatened the sewing machine with a sledge hammer or the window toss. Then I'll take a break, sometimes it will then cooperate, but not always. My favourite machine put me thru that recently, didn't like a fabric that I was using, aggh! Tension underside was a mess, broke 1/2 a dozen needles in one night, a few other tricks as well, but would work just fine on every other fabric I was using that night, nearly drove me nuts, and of course, I had a deadline! I've always got a deadline!
