There is a lightsaber description in the book, pg. 479. Basically it says he made it out of the throttle assembly and handlebar tube of a junked speeder bike. So I suppose an interpretation of that description would do also.
...and here's a larger shot of the costume. There is a waistband of sorts, but it's hard to tell if the suit is one piece or pants and a jacket.
