Thanks for the compliments on the belt, I don't ever want to make another one like it! I was pretty complicated to construct, with the 2 small criss-crossing straps.I plan on making my pauldrons out of leather. I love leather, the way it smells and sounds when it creaks.

You're very welcome
Leather certainly is a great material, I have several leather coats, and plans for more, and a grenade-shaped change pouch (made in hard leather) that I purchassed in Wales (and a place called Corrus ;D )ledaemborr said:
Cool! I'm going to try that when I make the collar piece for the version of Asajj that I'm doing.

Thanks
I think the mask is what really finishes it properly
Out of curiousity, how're you going to do the bald cap for Assaj? Aurra's is understandable, in that you can pull your hair through as the top-knot, but you'll be cramming a lot of hair under a bald cap... (The Borg Queen makeup was designed with the large head so it could accomodate Alice Krieg's hair under the bald cap)It'll be an experiment. My hair can get pretty flat, and I would use a wig sock and alot of hairspray to keep it in place. If it doesn't look right I'll just have to affix the robe hood to the back half of the cap. That way I'll still get the bald look in the front, but the hood will cover any stray lumps.
Ahh, if you can get your hair really flat, then you might be able to get away with it
I just wondered as your hair looks very similar to my fiance's, which is extremely thick, but has a tendency to be unmanageable, and I thought it might've been tricky to cram it under a bald cap. Something that's just come to mind, is apparently recent Borg makeup involved a hard-cast bald cap... Maybe something like that would be good for keeping your hair down
