Master Em-Borr, everything you have said is absolutely spot-on accurate, especiallyhhat you said here:
My hurry to complete my costume was for the vacation, so the photos could be taken on location, but cost was the factor that I was constantly fighting against. As my situation changes, I plan on improving my costume further, most obviously the tunic, but also the boots and belt. I want a pair of the Motorcycle Cowboy Anakin boots, and I plan on getting them (although probably not for a while ;D ) The belt is adequate, but it's not leather. For the price I paid for it (again, in a hurry and on a budget) I have no complaints, but I know that I can get better with the proper finances, so that is my goal
We are always looking for ways to refine our Jedi Code as this is all a growing and learning experience. Jedi Linnear's costume is very nicely done and I like the mods to the Karate Gi. I truly had no idea that it was a Gi, but I am glad that he is apart of TJA.
That being said..last night a few members of the Council were meeting and discussions have been undertaken about "modified" Karate Gi's. So more will be said about that later.
MTFBWY!!
Thank you, Master Jorlac, your acceptance and compliments both mean a great deal to me
Tanzan is a dedicated costumer, the lengths that he's gone to modify the Gi and the effort he's put into his entire costume is proof of that, but more to the point it looks Jedi... and thats what we want. Its instantly recognisable as a Jedi costume and it has the details that make the nitpickers happy. A karate gi isnt acceptable because of A; its colour and B; its fit, which doesnt look Jedi. But Tanzan's tunic is the right colour and it sits on him like a tunic should, with the proper skirt effect... thats why it should be perfectly acceptable.
Seda, you are without a doubt my best friend here, thank you for all your encouragement and support

Everyone who might wonder why the Jedi council members get a seat here should read the above post, such wisdom! Leda, that made perfect sense, thats pretty much exactly what I was thinking but I couldn't have said it any better.Tanzan is a dedicated costumer, the lengths that he's gone to modify the Gi and the effort he's put into his entire costume is proof of that, but more to the point it looks Jedi... and thats what we want.
