Thought I'd give this thread a quick bump 
Having seen a figure of Darth Maul with a training droid, it shows that his tattoos extend right across his torso and arms, not just the facial ones seen in TPM. Inspired by this, I'm planning on having the tattoo across my shoulders extended further down my spine. I've got the design drawn up, all I have to do now is get the money for it ;D
