Jedi's and Tattoos...

Well, the thing is I had my tattoos done to take attention away from a scar that I was self-concsious of, so it's something that I will always want there, and I've never once regretted having done, although I must admit, some people's attitudes towards tattoos/tattooed people can be dissapointing, but I think mostly it comes from not knowing much about the subject, or people with tattoos, so I don't take anything personally by it. To the topic though, I'm taking it that it is okay for a Jedi to have a tattoo, providing it's for personal/spiritual reasons, and not simply for self decoration? Here're some old photos of my tattoos, it's since been expanded to my elbows.
