Thanks, Syn-Kai-Jinn, It's a Celtic knot version of the Yin-Yang symbol slightly rotated. I bought the image online and colored it on my computer to see how it would look and to take with me while I was shopping for a local artist to do it.
I'd seen a photo of it that was all red, and you couldn't tell what it was. So I had the idea of coloring the 2 seperate sides, using my 2 favorite colors, red and blue.
