Every time I wear my Jedi gear and see a childs eyes light up it makes me feel great! I know I just gave that kid a special expierenceI know exactly what you mean, Himiko. Like this one time a few weeks after Celebration 3, I was standing in line at a local Wal-mart waiting to check out my items, and this little boy about 6 or 7 years old kept staring at me. I just nodded and smiled at him. Well he turns to his mother and he started whispering and pointing at me. So she turns to me and says, "Excuse me, but do you mind if my son asks you a quick question?" And I shrugged and said, "Sure". So the little boy puts his hand on his hips and says, "What do you think you are doing here?" And I said, "I'm just shopping" And he replies, "But I saw you a few days ago, Master Windu, and I don't know why your dressed like this". And I looked up at his mother, and she said we saw you a few weeks ago at Celebration 3 and he begged me to take a picture of you, but he didn't want to go up to you himself, because Mace is his favorite Jedi and he was a little nervous". Well I laughed and knelt down to the little boy and said, "I'm still Mace, but this is the only way I can get my shopping done, when I'm in disguise." Then I winked at him and he winked back and shook my hand. So it's great that we all do these things for children, like when we go to hospitals or elementary schools or cheer them on during the Special Olympics, it's something that they will remember and take with them always. It's like if the real actors and actresses can't come out of the movie screen for them, then we're all just the next best thing.
