Fear of the unknown is a biggie.... fear of of getting sick, dying prematurely and leaving my kids... and the horrible thought of your kids dying in an accident or something... that's way worse.
I also have an irrational fear of the dentist... like a phobia. I shake and my heart races in the chair. Last time the anesthetic wouldn't take effect and I just freaked and started sobbing. I felt so stupid but I just react that way. Bad experiences as a child I guess... I always had bad teeth. Once when I was little I even hid in the closet in the dentist's office. Then they found me and the dentist told my mom to take me someplace else.
Also I can't stand ticks... the creep me out. Other bugs are ok, but ticks--- forget it.
