Oh man, snakes used to send me screaming from the room, untilI read up on them and realised they'er more scared of me than I was of them. I got to know a snake a friend had. She was a ball python who loved to sleep in the bottom of my haori's sleeves. She liked how the fabric felt on her skin.(Who wouldn't, silk rocks. :-D ) You wouldn't think I'd cry when the snake died, but I did. Talk about a change, fear to a love for the critter.
"religious' Icons. ehh I can take 'em or leave 'em. The crucifix always creeped me out not because of who it represents, but the attitude and thought behind it. I'm with the mesianic jewish folks, no icons or images of the creator in the Temple mainly cuz he said not too.
Aston, fear fo fear is a valid one. Fear is alright as long as the person doesn't exsist in a lifestyle of being afraid of everything. It's not fun. I've a friend who is this manner of exsistance.
