I wouldn't say I'm scared of spiders as such, but they do disgust me. Their method of locomotion physically repulses me. Mannequins of any kind really give me the creeps, although paradoxically, life-like machines (that are sometimes displayed at Expos) don't bother me at all. I also can't look at crosses or crucifixes because they (or more accurately what they represent) repulses me. I used to enjoy studying about various religions when I was younger, but as I studied, I began to see things I did not like, until now, I just have an automatic and unconscious aversion to religious icons. True, too many different thoughts go along with what scares or frightens people. Repulsed is good...seeing as that seems to be a main premise on "Fear Factor"...such as downing a maggot smoothie is less a fear and more a repulsive thing. (As for icons, I've never been one to like them either.)
