Green lens? I just have a solar filter for mine. A glass one, not a mylar.
What kind of telescope do you have?
The last solar eclipse I saw wasn't total, but it was enough to make weird shadows everywhere... the shadows of the leaves were not full, but looked like crescents of themselves. Very cool! That was about 15 or so years ago, roughly.
