I can run the furnace for a couple of hours at a time, and then have to turn it off to bail out the water.
We can't leave the furnace running unattended so we have to leave it off when we go to bed or work. The house is coldest when we get up in the morning, or come home from work. The lowest the house has gone down to is 14C (57F)... so far.
I haven't needed an alarm clock lately- I just wake up shivering from the cold.
I'm going to call the service department again tomorrow- they are supposed to call us when the part arrives to arrange a date to install it, but I don't really trust them to call us right away.
