Strange...I have three seperate units for different heats. I have a forced air (ductwork) heating system for my upper level, a water heater for my hot water and another hot water heater for my lower level's infloor heating system. Leda... do you have radiators that heat your house? That's how you can only have one unit do it all!!! My house must be overkill  Not upright radiators, but we have hot water pipes that run along the baseboard. It's kinda unnerving the way my house is... I'm totally dependent on electricity. No power means no furnace (it's oil, but electric start), no hot water, no stove/oven, and no sewar pump.  At least I have a fireplace. And the thermostat did trigger the furnace a couple of nights ago... it must have been pretty chilly because it was set for 60.
